That's Just The Way I am
I can't change, that's just the way I am.
I can't hide it, that's just the way I am.
Might as well get over it, that's just the way I am.
Don't try to understand, that's just the way I am.
Familiar sounding words? We so often hang onto the old, the old ways, the old habits, the old fears. the old anger.
Jesus gives us a new way: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Cor. 5:17
